Watch Your Thoughts. They Are so Powerful.


I shared a wonderful quote this morning on my Facebook page:

'The Mind is Everything. What you think you become.' - Buddha

This idea is in many ways the foundation of coaching and psychology. We need to take note of our thoughts - because they absolutely create our experience of life.

They impact the way we feel, what we do and the choices we make. Though we are constantly thinking we are not always aware of the content of our thoughts and we make assumptions about the accuracy of them without often questioning - are these really helping me?

It can be helpful to ask ourselves:

o how accurate are these thoughts/beliefs really?

o Is there another way of looking at this?

o How are my thoughts impacting my experience?
